Ingrid Hoffmann Ingrid Hoffmann is the host of Food Network’s Simply Delicioso as well as the hit series, Delicioso on the Spanish-language network, Galavision/Univision, which is currently in its fifth season. Growing up in her mother’s kitchen, who is a Cordon Bleu chef, Ingrid discovered her passion for food and entertaining, developing dishes with a Latin twist. Raised in Colombia, Ingrid moved to Miami where she opened La Capricieuse, a high fashion luxury boutique in Miami’s Coconut Grove. In 1993, Ingrid opened Rocca, the first restaurant to feature tabletop cooking on heated lava rocks. Within weeks, Rocca was touted as the hot destination for Miami’s movers and shakers. While these businesses flourished, Ingrid was approached to host a cooking segment on a Miami area TV show and has continued to entertain as a television personality since. |
