Marisoll Hernández
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Marisoll Hernández holds the distinction of being the first Puerto Rican woman to rise to the position of Executive Chef in a four-star hotel in Puerto Rico – this, at age 29. Throughout her career she has collaborated with many of the island’s top chefs, earning accolades and awards at the local and international level, most recently representing Puerto Rico at the James Beard Foundation House in New York. Chef Marisoll has been the consultant behind several diverse, successful culinary endeavors. For nine years, Chef Marisoll Cuisine in Old San Juan was recognized as one of the top restaurants on the Island. Her most recent restaurant, Etniko, was characterized as a reflection of the multicultural elements that have influenced her over the years. She is now dedicated to the Catering Business.
