Steve Olson Acclaimed restaurant consultant, innovative teacher, celebrated television personality—and self-proclaimed wine geek—Steve Olson brings his good humor and extensive knowledge to his new role as Bon Appétit Wine & Spirits Consultant. Olson’s résumé includes creating beverage programs for the country’s most celebrated restaurants, including Gramercy Tavern; serving as co-host of QUENCH on the Food Network; and most recently, opening Beverage Alcohol Resource (BAR), dedicated to the enlightened, responsible and healthy use of alcohol. Olson’s philosophy of “making tasting fun by removing the intimidation factor and the pretense” is in perfect synergy with Bon Appétit’s approach to the epicurean lifestyle. |
