Ventura Vivoni

Chef Ventura Vivoni is the Executive Chef of Coyaba Beach Resort in Grenada, the West Indies.  A young Puerto Rican with an artistic personality developed through painting, music and gastronomy, Vivoni commands a variety of areas that encompass the concept of ‘kitchen artist.’’  By fusioning international and Caribbean flavors, he presents dishes as eye-catching painted sculptures, in a unique style that sets him apart.

A graduate of the Caribbean Culinary Institute of Puerto Rico, Vivoni’s experimentation has been an important element in the conception of his particular style.  He has stretched out frontiers while developing Latin-Asian cuisine, criolla (créole) creative, Latin-Thai fusion and Ital-Asian cuisine.  Vivoni’s confections combine the commitment to his native land’s flavors and colors with contemporary global trends.
